Flower Power Gardening LLC prides itself in being able to breathe more life into our client’s gardens. We strive to be both highly detailed and very efficient in each and every garden. We aspire to help every garden thrive, and for every client to fall in love with their gardens all over again. We are a local small business made up of a crew of professional gardeners.
Below you will find some brief information about the owner, Evan. It is our hope that we will shed some light on just how much we love taking care of gardens and making them look spectacular!
Evan Gibson – Owner
With a passion for nature and the outdoors, Evan strives to help recreate an ideal garden-get-away for every client. After spending years in the gardening industry, enjoying every moment outside in the field, Evan purchased Flower Power Gardening LLC at the beginning of 2022. He loves to get to know each client and their specific needs, in order to best assess what the garden requires.
Evan enjoys working in every type of garden, and has a specific fondnesses for native, Japanese, and English gardens! Several of his favorite plants to care for include catmints (nepeta), lavender, penstemons, serviceberries, Oregon sunshine, all types of lilies, hyssop, peonies, columnar grasses (e.g. Karl Foerster and pampas), fruit trees, and a variety of weeping trees.
Outside of work, Evan loves spending time with his wife, Mikayla, gardening at home, birdwatching, hiking, bowling, disc golfing, and traveling to concerts. While hiking and traveling, he also enjoys taking photos, some of which appear throughout the website! He has also recently picked up leather crafting and acrylic painting.
